Senior Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support off-shift Manufacturing Engineering needs
• Serve as Manufacturing Engineering Lead for the Rocket Motor Program
• Execute two Continuous Improvement Projects per year focused on quality, productivity, or cost savings
• Update work instructions to improve readability and clarity
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to develop robust root cause and corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience
• OR Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related engineering experience
• OR minimum 10 years of prior related engineering experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing Engineering experience with solid rocket motors
• Knowledge of and experience with Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
