About the role
Responsibilities
- Support off-shift Manufacturing Engineering needs
- Serve as Manufacturing Engineering Lead for the Rocket Motor Program
- Execute two Continuous Improvement Projects per year focused on quality, productivity, or cost savings
- Update work instructions to improve readability and clarity
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering to develop robust root cause and corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant engineering experience
- OR Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related engineering experience
- OR minimum 10 years of prior related engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing Engineering experience with solid rocket motors
- Knowledge of and experience with Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
