Senior Specialist, Logistics Administration

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics administration and technical data for B-52 aircraft weapon systems using specialized databases including A-TEAM, TOAP, and ETIMS
• Utilize engineering drawings, technical orders, and illustrated parts breakdowns to identify and correct data errors
• Research aircraft parts and National Stock Numbers (NSN) using IHS Haystack Gold and WebFLIS/FedMall
• Compile information into change packages to instruct editors on required technical updates
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers to ensure mission readiness
• Oversee project completion by planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing the accuracy of work
• Prepare detailed activity and status reports for management and customers

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business Administration or a related field with 8 years of practical experience
• 16 years of progressive experience in a related field in lieu of a formal degree
• Experience as a maintainer, technician, logistician, maintenance planner, or supply manager
• Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief results to management and customers
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct knowledge of B-52 aircraft weapon systems and sub-systems
• Experience analyzing engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data to solve complex problems
• Ability to utilize database software to perform complex queries, data sorting, and technical reporting
