Senior Specialist – L2 Body Integration

Responsibilities

• Own integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture with a focus on Body systems
• Drive software integration and validation per vehicle software maturity and release gates
• Integrate and validate vehicle body features across prototype, bench, HIL, SIL, and vehicle test environments
• Support feature integration for smart access, power doors, lighting, and occupant comfort systems
• Coordinate software and hardware compatibility across body ECUs, gateways, and zonal controllers
• Validate vehicle communication across CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay
• Manage vehicle wake-up/sleep strategies and power state transitions
• Validate UDS/DoIP response timing and diagnostic robustness

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Proficiency in automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Experience with UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229) and diagnostic communication tools
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Proficiency in Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace control desk, and automation desk
• Familiarity with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe
