Senior Specialist, Industrial Engineering & Production System

Responsibilities

• Establish, steer, and refine Lean culture and a unified production system across all departments
• Build and develop digital shopfloor management using lean methods
• Coordinate productivity measures through the development of a plant productivity reporting system
• Define and establish production processes and optimization concepts
• Set up production process plans and manage labor requirements and time credits
• Design workplaces and new work processes, including layouts, walking routes, and material supply
• Optimize shift systems and production speeds to meet output requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional knowledge transfer regarding industrial engineering and production systems

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in automotive production
• Bachelor's degree in business management, project management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
• Expertise in Lean Management and Continuous Improvement Process Management
• Experience with factory systems for time factor calculations and process management
• Proficiency in Human Work Design Tools and MTM method
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in moderation and coordination of optimization workshops
• Project management experience for cross-functional long-term projects
• Skills in process planning and product sequencing
• Understanding of product effects on equipment and ergonomics
• Proficiency in office and web-based applications
