Senior Specialist II, Field EHS

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS policies in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Ensure compliance with local Japanese EHS regulations and corporate policies
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training sessions to employees and contractors
• Host monthly safety meetings to share incident updates and "good catch" reports
• Support EHS audits, inspections, and the maintenance of emergency response plans
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards
• Manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, and office supply procurement
• Support CKM, spares, and part forecasting and coordination to support site operations

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in EHS, order management, or administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in using SAP applications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual communication skills in both Japanese and English
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
