Senior Specialist I, Technical Training

Responsibilities

• Present technical training in-house on ASM semiconductor equipment, focusing on specialized and customized courses
• Manage classroom and lab activities to ensure course objectives are met while maintaining strict safety procedures
• Maintain deep product technical knowledge to prepare and present defined product courses
• Assist Course Developers by creating and augmenting technical documentation to fill gaps in released materials
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to assist with system repairs and ensure functionality for training
• Revise curriculum plans as needed to support new technology from system upgrades or procedure changes
• Update the Global Training Center (GTC) training tracking system and Learning Management System
• Communicate with Business Units to obtain current product information for course updates

Requirements

• Technical Degree or BS strongly preferred, or equivalent on-the-job experience
• 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
• Ability to read and troubleshoot schematics
• Strong electrical and mechanical systems skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to safely follow, validate, and redline operation and maintenance procedures

• Military training experience
