Senior Specialist I, Demand Forecasting

Responsibilities

• Manage global forecasting and planning for spares, including inventory management and demand/supply horizontals
• Collaborate with regional planners to align spares forecasts and ensure adequate stocking levels to support global demand
• Monitor global critical allocation parts and work with commodity managers and procurement to ensure sufficient inventory
• Develop and maintain global entry plant planning methodologies and supersession information
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including business development and account teams, to improve forecast accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement of forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies using advanced analytics
• Lead meetings to drive action and accountability across global teams and provide regular analytical reports

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
• Proficiency in SAP is required
• High-level proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to analyze large, complex datasets
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in English with excellent communicative competence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in spares forecasting and planning
• Background in the semiconductor or electronics industry
• Knowledge of purchase order expediting, spares logistics, and inventory management theories
