Senior Specialist - Group CAPEX

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for the lifecycle of all fixed assets (PPE), including recognition, capitalization, and depreciation models
• Lead the accounting for the global lease portfolio under IFRS 16, managing Right-of-Use assets and lease liabilities
• Oversee daily operations including additions, disposals, depreciation, and re-measurements
• Act as the primary contact for CAPEX-related requests across global and local teams
• Provide oversight and quality control for outsourced accounting providers and mentor their team members
• Ensure accurate disclosure in consolidated IFRS Financial Statements and oversee internal SOX controls
• Automate global processes using digital toolkits and maintain robust process documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance
• 4+ years of practical experience in a large-scale or international corporate environment
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, specifically IAS 16 and IFRS 16
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Workspace
• Exceptional analytical skills and business proficiency in English
• Ability to navigate a matrix organization and communicate complex financial concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynamics 365
• Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven financial workflows
• Specific experience in CAPEX accounting
