Senior Specialist - Footwear Material

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end material sourcing in alignment with global strategy
• Identify, onboard, and manage high-performing material suppliers
• Analyze lead times and production processes
• Evaluate and drive material-specific targets in line with sustainability roadmaps
• Identify opportunities to elevate material performance and advance circularity
• Partner with the lab team on physical testing criteria and standards

Requirements

• Degree in Footwear Textile Sciences or Textile Engineering/Technology
• At least 5 years of experience in the global footwear industry or a relevant industry
• Experience working with Asia-based suppliers
• Strong affinity for footwear design and technical performance technology
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin
