Senior Specialist – Financial Operations - Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Manage complex and high-value accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate invoice verification and timely payment processing
• Perform detailed supplier account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization in coordination with treasury teams
• Ensure strict compliance with Delegation of Authority, financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and assist in internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support ERP system optimization and automation initiatives
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior finance team members

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or financial management
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Mandatory professional certification (CMA, CA, ACCA, or CPA)
• Expertise in financial controls, compliance, and complex financial reconciliations
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Additional certifications in treasury or financial risk management
• Experience with financial automation tools
• Experience working in a multinational or highly regulated industry
