Senior Specialist Field Engineer - Storage

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, focusing on storage technologies within high-performance compute (HPC) environments
• Collaborate with customers to prototype and deploy tailored solutions aligned with business needs
• Lead proof of concept initiatives to showcase solution value and viability
• Drive technical leadership during customer meetings, presentations, and workshops
• Act as a virtual member of the Storage product and engineering teams to identify enhancement opportunities
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads for optimization
• Stay informed on trends in Kubernetes, cloud computing, and infrastructure
• Lead prototyping and R&D efforts for emerging products and solutions
• Represent CoreWeave at industry conferences and events

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, or similar role in Cloud Infrastructure
• Expertise in building distributed systems or HPC/cloud services with a focus on storage solutions
• Fluency in cloud computing concepts, architecture, and technologies
• Proven track record of building customer relationships and communicating complex technical concepts
• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs and associated networking technologies
• Deep understanding of storage/file system protocols and infrastructure integration
• Strong understanding of the storage provider landscape and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Code contributions to open-source inference frameworks
• Experience with scripting and automation for storage technologies
• Experience building solutions across multi-cloud environments
• Client-facing publications or talks on latency, optimization, or advanced model-server architectures
