Senior Specialist Field Engineer - Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, focusing on Kubernetes solutions within high-performance compute (HPC) environments
• Collaborate with customers to prototype and deploy tailored solutions aligned with business needs
• Lead proof of concept initiatives to showcase CoreWeave's solution value
• Drive technical leadership during customer meetings, presentations, and workshops
• Act as a virtual member of the Kubernetes product and engineering teams to identify product enhancement opportunities
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads for optimization
• Stay informed of latest trends in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Lead prototyping and R&D efforts for emerging products
• Represent CoreWeave at industry conferences and events

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, or similar role in Cloud Infrastructure
• Expertise in building distributed systems or HPC/cloud services with a focus on scalable Kubernetes solutions
• Fluency in cloud computing architecture and hands-on implementation experience
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs, Infiniband, and NVIDIA Collective Communications Library (NCCL)
• Experience running large-scale AI/ML training and inference workloads using Slurm and Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Code contributions to open-source inference frameworks
• Experience with scripting and automation for Kubernetes clusters
• Experience building solutions across multi-cloud environments
• Publications or talks regarding latency, optimization, or advanced model-server architectures
