Senior Specialist Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, focusing on AI/ML workloads within HPC environments
• Collaborate with customers to prototype and deploy tailored solutions
• Lead proof of concept initiatives to showcase solution value
• Drive technical leadership during customer meetings, presentations, and workshops
• Act as a virtual member of the Kubernetes product and engineering teams to identify product enhancements
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads for optimization
• Stay informed on trends in Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
• Lead prototyping and R&D efforts for emerging products
• Represent CoreWeave at industry conferences and events

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, or similar role in Cloud Infrastructure
• Expertise in building distributed systems or HPC/cloud services with a focus on AI/ML inference
• Fluency in cloud computing architecture and hands-on implementation
• Deep expertise with NVIDIA GPUs, Infiniband, and NCCL
• Experience running large-scale AI/ML training and inference workloads using Slurm and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Code contributions to open-source inference frameworks
• Experience with scripting and automation for AI/ML workloads
• Experience building solutions across multi-cloud environments
• Publications or talks regarding latency, optimization, or advanced model-server architectures
