Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and qualification test plans for non-standard parts and processes
• Support component selection and develop part specifications (e.g., SCDs, PIDs)
• Assist design engineering in selecting appropriate parts based on mission requirements
• Resolve supplier issues in cooperation with quality and supply chain teams
• Review PCNs, EOL notices, deviations, and waivers for potential product impact
• Support reliability engineering efforts including failure analysis and MTBF predictions
• Perform complex BOM grading and address obsolescence with mitigation plans
• Work closely with Materials & Process and Reliability personnel to ensure mission success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Graduate Degree with minimum 4 years of prior related experience
• Or 10+ years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Parts Obsolescence and use of Silicon Expert
• Experience with the GIDEP system
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics
• Experience with packaged and die-level components, MMICs, and ASICs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
