About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive business cases and profitability assessments for customer service products, including extended warranties and digital services.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market benchmarking, and industry trend monitoring to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze financial performance, revenue streams, and cost structures to support strategic decision-making.
  • Drive supplier partnerships and negotiations to ensure high-quality, customer-centric product delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to define business requirements and support the implementation of system developments.
  • Prepare management reports, performance dashboards, and executive presentations with actionable insights.
  • Optimize customer retention programs and claiming/reimbursement processes to drive sustainable aftersales revenue.
  • Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement projects using innovative approaches.

Requirements

  • Degree in business management, business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategy or business development, preferably within the automotive industry or a leading consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and their potential business applications.
  • High affinity for the automotive industry, specifically electric mobility and market segments.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a structured, goal-oriented way of working.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in an additional European language or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international agile environment.
