Senior Specialist, Communications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communications for the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) business sector.
• Partner with division Vice Presidents, General Managers, and senior leadership to align communications with business strategy.
• Create engaging content including speeches, thought leadership, reports, and executive correspondence.
• Lead rapid response communications for program and personnel issues to protect brand reputation.
• Collaborate with Business Development on marketing communications for capture and growth initiatives.
• Support change management by developing internal communications to educate and motivate employees.
• Conduct research to develop communication metrics and monitor aerospace and defense industry trends.
• Manage tradeshow communications plans and monitor ISR-related news for weekly insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Graduate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR
• 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
• Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Experience communicating complex topics to a general audience.
• Background in corporate communications, journalism, or military public affairs.
