Senior Specialist, Application Development

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and integrate backend systems, microservices infrastructure, and specialized libraries within a closed area.
• Enhance and upgrade Golang Teamcenter libraries, NX ufunc, and Capital Harness DRC libraries.
• Manage and upgrade the upkeep of microservices within the technology stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and microservices while adhering to program security controls.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and efficient backend systems.
• Manage self-driven or time-driven projects with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of software development experience (focus on backend systems).
• Graduate Degree with 4 years of software development experience (focus on backend systems).
• 10 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active Secret security clearance at the time of hire.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang, C#, JavaScript, and Vue (or equivalent languages).
• Experience with PLM tools, CAD/CAM, and Teamcenter RAC or Active Workspace.
• Familiarity with integrating disparate tools into a PLM suite (Simulations, Requirements Management, MBSE).
• Experience with large data migrations and transforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture implementation and virtualization platforms.
