Senior Specialist, Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom integration solutions between PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill) and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and scripting.
• Implement workflows, data transformations, and connectors to enable digital thread and model-based engineering (MBSE) capabilities.
• Build and maintain integrations between PLM and other enterprise systems including ERP, MES, and CAD.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure data consistency, security, and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for integration development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 4+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in application development and system integration.
• Experience with PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital thread and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Magic Xpi integration platform or similar toolsets.
• Experience with Tricentis test automation tools, including Tosca and NeoLoad.
• Proficiency in data modeling, configuration management, and PLM workflows.
