Senior Specialist Account Payable

Responsibilities

• Validate and process vendor invoices accurately
• Reconcile statements of accounts and resolve vendor queries
• Perform monthly analysis of accounts payable (AP) balances
• Ensure timely payment processing and support financial closing activities
• Attend to auditor queries and prepare necessary worksheets for internal and external audits
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation
• Supervise small project-based activities and lead financial projects
• Lead and coach junior staff members

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Studies (Accounting)
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting
• At least 2 years of experience as an Account Assistant Officer
• Sound knowledge of financial accounting processes, procedures, and double-entry bookkeeping
• Hands-on experience with SAP applications
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
