About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing plans and strategies for aerospace components
  • Design, optimize, and implement assembly and integration procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing tools
  • Lead the cut-in and ramp-up of new products from development to production
  • Review product designs for manufacturability and provide feedback to design engineers
  • Develop and implement quality control measures, inspection criteria, and test plans
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel

Requirements

  • U.S. Persons status required
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, assembly, and integration
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Experience developing manufacturing plans and assembly procedures
  • Experience with CAD/CAM, PLM, or ERP systems
  • Experience planning or executing electrical/functional testing of components or spacecraft
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality management systems
  • Experience in programming with Python or LabVIEW
  • Experience in environmental testing (vibration, thermal, pneumatic)
  • Familiarity with spacecraft subsystem interactions and design trades
