About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop avionics systems and electrical components for satellite systems
  • Develop and implement electrical system architectures, power distribution, and communication interfaces
  • Design electrical boards and PCBs considering signal routing and manufacturability
  • Conduct component research and selection for sensors, transmitters, and processors
  • Define and execute test plans to validate avionics and electrical systems performance
  • Troubleshoot electrical and avionics system issues during development and testing
  • Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software engineers for subsystem integration

Requirements

  • U.S. Person status required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in avionics and electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design and power electronics
  • Experience with eCAD software (Altium), circuit simulation (LTSpice), and PCB design tools
  • Ability to debug complex problems using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Spectrum Analyzers
  • Strong knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees in engineering
  • Experience specifically within the aerospace or satellite industry
