About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in leading a large, dynamic kitchen team
  • Run kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to kitchen staff
  • Create and execute high-quality dishes with excellent presentation
  • Manage orders, deliveries, and food hygiene standards
  • Ensure statutory compliance in all food and drink related areas
  • Drive efficiency and maintain menu integrity

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, high-volume environment
  • Proven track record of managing large kitchen teams
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Passion for food, freshness, and ingredient provenance
  • Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions
  • Commitment to maintaining brand standards and creativity
