About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef in leading a large, dynamic kitchen team
- Run kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to kitchen staff
- Create and execute high-quality dishes with excellent presentation
- Manage orders, deliveries, and food hygiene standards
- Ensure statutory compliance in all food and drink related areas
- Drive efficiency and maintain menu integrity
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a busy, high-volume environment
- Proven track record of managing large kitchen teams
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Passion for food, freshness, and ingredient provenance
- Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions
- Commitment to maintaining brand standards and creativity
