Responsibilities
- Communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members and lead by example
- Monitor kitchen operations and cleanliness consistently
- Build and maintain relationships with team members and front of house management
- Follow proper ordering, inventory, and receiving procedures
- Lead recruitment, selection, training, and development initiatives
- Manage performance and provide employee coaching
- Utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- 4-5 years of Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in high-end fine dining
- Proven track record in demanding culinary environments
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to work in a performance-based culture
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
