Responsibilities

• Assess product samples for quality, cost-effectiveness, and production value
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and allocate suppliers based on design briefs, lead times, and price competitiveness
• Translate creative design briefs into technical sourcing requirements
• Identify and develop new suppliers across activewear and associated categories
• Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding, including sample approvals and compliance checks
• Conduct supplier due diligence and risk assessments
• Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic and development suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs including cost, quality, and on-time delivery

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in sourcing, buying, or supply chain management within fashion or activewear
• Strong commercial product knowledge regarding garment construction and quality
• Demonstrable experience working directly with manufacturers
• Experience translating design briefs into actionable sourcing requirements
• Confident negotiation skills to secure favorable commercial terms
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting cost and market data
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Fashion Buying
• Familiarity with compliance standards and ethical sourcing frameworks (e.g., BSCI, GOTS, OEKO-TEX)
• Experience working across international supply chains, particularly in Asia
• Previous experience in a sourcing role at executive level
