Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for top-tier global financial institutions integrating Wise products via API.
• Define technical solutions, gather requirements, and support the delivery of bespoke partner integrations.
• Enhance the integration experience by developing documentation, SDKs, code samples, and reference implementations.
• Collaborate with the technical presales team to provide expert guidance and demonstrations during the sales cycle.
• Design and develop new features to expand Wise's service functionality and expose them through the public API.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within the Wise product stack, providing second-line support.
• Establish a feedback loop between partners and product teams to drive continuous product improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years in customer-facing engineering roles (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, or IT Consultant).
• Strong familiarity with Java (Spring), Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, Swagger, OpenAPI, and OAuth2.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture (EDA), and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple complex integrations in parallel.
