About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to prepare for prospect meetings regarding business environments and market challenges
- Carry out discovery conversations to understand customer needs, pains, and objectives
- Specify appropriate solutions using in-depth knowledge of Talkdesk capabilities
- Design and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations both on-site and virtually
- Generate value statements illustrating the financial impact of solutions
- Assist with scoping Statements of Work (SOW) for implementations
- Scope, execute, and manage customer pilots and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP/Telecommunications, or Contact Center industries
- Experience selling to Enterprise customers
- Proven ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations
- Strong problem-solving skills to meet business requirements with technical solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CRM, ITSM, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence
- Experience with UCaaS or CCaaS software
- Knowledge of web and scripting technologies
