About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to prepare for prospect meetings regarding business environments and market challenges
  • Carry out discovery conversations to understand customer needs, pains, and objectives
  • Specify appropriate solutions using in-depth knowledge of Talkdesk capabilities
  • Design and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations both on-site and virtually
  • Generate value statements illustrating the financial impact of solutions
  • Assist with scoping Statements of Work (SOW) for implementations
  • Scope, execute, and manage customer pilots and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
  • Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP/Telecommunications, or Contact Center industries
  • Experience selling to Enterprise customers
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Strong problem-solving skills to meet business requirements with technical solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRM, ITSM, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence
  • Experience with UCaaS or CCaaS software
  • Knowledge of web and scripting technologies
