About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to prepare for meetings with prospects to understand their business environment and challenges
- Carry out discovery conversations to uncover customer pains, objectives, and metrics
- Specify appropriate solutions using in-depth knowledge of Talkdesk capabilities
- Design and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers
- Generate value statements illustrating the financial impact of solutions
- Assist with scoping SOWs and managing customer pilots or POCs
- Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP, or Contact Center environments
- Experience selling to Commercial or Enterprise customers
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven experience in SaaS environments
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards including HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST
- Experience with healthcare contact centers or CRM integrations like Epic, Cerner, or Salesforce Health Cloud
- Willingness to travel 20–50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CRM, ITSM, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence
- Knowledge of UCaaS or CCaaS software
- Familiarity with web and scripting technologies
