About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to prepare for meetings with prospects to understand their business environment and challenges
  • Carry out discovery conversations to uncover customer pains, objectives, and metrics
  • Specify appropriate solutions using in-depth knowledge of Talkdesk capabilities
  • Design and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Generate value statements illustrating the financial impact of solutions
  • Assist with scoping SOWs and managing customer pilots or POCs
  • Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP, or Contact Center environments
  • Experience selling to Commercial or Enterprise customers
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proven experience in SaaS environments
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards including HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST
  • Experience with healthcare contact centers or CRM integrations like Epic, Cerner, or Salesforce Health Cloud
  • Willingness to travel 20–50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRM, ITSM, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence
  • Knowledge of UCaaS or CCaaS software
  • Familiarity with web and scripting technologies
