Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for SolarWinds products, providing in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations
• Partner with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions
• Build strong relationships with potential and existing customers to ensure they understand product capabilities
• Assess customer environments and develop technical solutions aligned with their IT strategy
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) management and trials to demonstrate product value
• Provide solution training and best practices to customers, partners, and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar technical role
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar IT monitoring and management tools
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, such as PowerShell or Python
• Ability to travel as required (up to 25-50%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
