Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive the technical win across the sales cycle
• Present Snowflake’s vision, platform, and value to technical and executive audiences
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers through discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements
• Guide customers on modern data architecture, solution design, and implementation across analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, and governance
• Translate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns that drive adoption
• Develop trusted relationships with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders within strategic enterprise accounts
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solution architecture
• Strong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT, data warehouses, and cloud-native data platforms
• Experience working with enterprise customers in complex technical environments
• Strong hands-on technical capability with SQL and Python
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Ability to facilitate whiteboarding sessions and technical workshops

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI and machine learning deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with large-scale database technologies and cloud data platforms
• Background in enterprise SaaS and complex technical sales cycles
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
