Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout all stages of the customer sales lifecycle
• Build sales presentations and product demonstrations to educate customers from developers to C-level executives
• Empathize with customers to discern technical needs and present targeted solutions
• Advise diverse customers on the possibilities of the Okta Identity Platform using technical and business insight

Requirements

• Experience in PreSales roles such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer
• Knowledge of network security protocols like OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP
• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) or Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Understanding of core application security concerns including SSL/TLS, encryption, and XSS
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICCC
• Experience working with Large Enterprise or Strategic sectors
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly
• Willingness to travel and meet customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Identity & Access Management, SSO, and API-based solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS
• Previous experience as a Software Developer
