Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects, providing strategic consultation on data architecture, governance, and instrumentation
• Bridge the technical-business gap by working with senior stakeholders to define success for proof-of-concepts
• Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth across the ANZ region
• Lead technical qualification for customer use cases and deliver customized demos
• Scope and execute proof-of-concept projects, including consulting on data ingestion and architecture
• Collect customer feedback to serve as the "Voice of the Prospect" for the Product team

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in SaaS Sales Engineering or a related role
• Experience in data querying, modeling, and transformation using SQL, dbt, Python, or BI platforms
• Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud, or AWS
• Proven track record of qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude or Gemini
• Ability to travel within the ANZ region and occasionally across APJ

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with value engineering frameworks and building ROI calculators
• Experience working with Australian enterprise or mid-market technology companies
• Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) environments
• Background in high-growth SaaS environments (Series B–E)
