Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-practice network designs and implementations for reliable, scalable solutions
• Perform analysis, diagnosis, and fault isolation of client network issues
• Prepare project proposals including Bill of Materials, Engineering Professional Services Estimates, and Statements of Work
• Serve as a hands-on post-sales engineer implementing and supporting networking projects
• Physically install equipment including routers, switches, and other network infrastructure
• Perform equipment upgrades and maintain client relationships
• Discover, audit, and document client infrastructures
• Provide technical thought leadership and anticipate IT industry trends

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise LAN/WAN networks
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking (LAN, WAN, switching, routing, data center, wireless, firewalling, VPN, QoS, & MPLS)
• Proficiency in IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS
• Experience with routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, SD-WAN, and Next Gen Firewalls
• CCNA Route/Switch with equivalent experience, CCNP, or CCDP
• Excellent documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong client-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco and Meraki wireless networks (Mist, Aruba, or Arista)
• Knowledge of 802.11 protocols and wireless survey tools
• Experience with Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and Cisco DNA
• Experience with Meraki cloud networking products
• CCIE or equivalent experience
• CCNP Wireless, CCNP Route/Switch, or CWNA
• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
