Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support
• Identify and map customer business problems to Cloudflare solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to enterprise-level stakeholders
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) activities and trials for prospects and existing customers
• Build and maintain technical relationships and champions within large enterprise accounts
• Create professional technical content, including white papers and blog posts, to share knowledge
• Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at industry events, developer conferences, and cybersecurity forums

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a customer-facing technical role
• Background in CDN, Security, Networking, or SaaS industries
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% to meet customers, attend conferences, and collaborate with teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of customer network and application architectures
• Experience with hybrid architectures involving Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of application and network security, including DDoS, malware, and phishing
• Experience with VPN, remote access challenges, and SD-WAN
• Familiarity with SIEM and log analytics platforms
• Experience interacting with C-level executives regarding network and security transformation
