Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support for enterprise accounts
• Identify customer business challenges and map them to appropriate Cloudflare solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept trials
• Build technical champions and maintain strong relationships within customer organizations
• Create professional content such as white papers and blog posts to share expertise
• Represent and evangelize Cloudflare at industry, technology, and cybersecurity events

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum 5 years of pre-sales experience
• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer)
• Exposure to CDN, Security, Networking, or SaaS technologies
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong grasp of networking and application architecture, including hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with application and network security, including DDoS, malware, and phishing threats
• Familiarity with SaaS application environments and VPN/remote access challenges
• Knowledge of SIEM and log analytics platforms
• Understanding of routing, subnetting, SD-WAN, and local internet breakout
• Relevant certifications such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Architect
