Senior Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle
• Support enterprise Proof of Concepts, design, and implementation
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing

Requirements

• 7-8 years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment
• Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
• Broad experience with large-scale Database, Data Warehouse, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
• Ability to perform deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks
• Proactive curiosity for the AI landscape and ability to leverage AI code generation tools
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in Data Science or Business Administration
• Experience working with GSIs such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture
