Senior Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and document complex cloud-native architectures, including microservices, API designs, and inter-service communication patterns.
• Collaborate with Account and Bid teams to understand business problems and drive agreement on technical approaches and constraints.
• Lead the implementation of proof of concepts (POCs) and pilots in partnership with Project Managers.
• Define and mitigate technical risks, creating contingency plans to ensure project stability.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior-level stakeholders, using evidence-based arguments to influence technical direction.
• Drive the adoption of Microsoft technologies by demonstrating business value and ROI compared to competitor solutions.
• Generate and improve intellectual property to scale solutions across multiple customers and partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology solutions, architecture, consulting, or application development.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in cloud-native architecture and modern application development.
• Expertise in microservices architectures, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and service decomposition.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing event-driven and distributed systems (e.g., Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, or Kafka).
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM) and YAML pipelines.
• Proficiency in modern development languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience or 8+ years with a Master's degree.
• 6+ years of technical sales or customer-facing consulting experience.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum).
