Senior Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for enterprise banking and merchant acquiring platforms
• Design scalable and secure microservices and API-driven architectures across digital banking ecosystems
• Define high-level architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise design standards
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure solution alignment
• Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and technology evaluations
• Design resilient and highly available distributed systems on cloud-native and container-based platforms
• Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are embedded into all solution architectures
• Mentor engineers, developers, and junior architects on modern engineering patterns and best practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall technology experience
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture roles
• Expertise in Digital Banking, Payments, or Merchant Acquiring domains
• Proficiency in Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems
• Deep experience with Cloud-Native and Container-based architectures (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong knowledge of API Security, OAuth2, JWT, and API Gateways
• Experience with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and banking regulatory compliance
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise banking solutions in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Merchant Acquiring domain expertise
• Security Architecture certifications or hands-on threat modeling experience
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architecture
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
