About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data & analytics platforms, including data warehouses, RAG pipelines, and AI systems
- Lead technical discovery and architecture work with clients to define target architectures and tech stacks
- Design data architectures and data products for industrial and business environments
- Identify high-value AI applications in engineering and industrial processes
- Communicate technical decisions to business, OT, and IT stakeholders
- Support internal teams through code reviews, architecture guidance, and mentoring
- Contribute to business unit growth through sales support and scoping
Requirements
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as consulting or solution architecture
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready systems
- Strong foundation in ML and data engineering
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or MLflow
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premise/hybrid environments
- University degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar technical discipline
- Fluency in both German and English
