Senior Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of the humanoid operator console, including front-end behavior and API contracts
• Test inference servers and model-serving stack for latency, throughput, and failover
• Validate backend services, APIs, auth, data pipelines, and telemetry
• Design and implement automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Define test methods, quality criteria, and metrics to shape testing strategy
• Document tests in the test tracking system

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software testing
• Strong experience testing client-server systems (front-end, back-end, APIs)
• Proficiency in Python for test automation
• Experience with API testing frameworks like pytest and requests
• Comfortable operating in Linux environments via terminal
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with test management tools like Jira or TestRail

Preferred Qualifications

• Front-end automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Performance and load testing experience using k6, Locust, or JMeter
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with ML model serving infrastructure (Triton, TorchServe)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++
• Awareness of the robotics domain
