Senior Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Scale and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python, Java, or JavaScript to reduce manual verification efforts.
• Drive end-to-end product and regression testing across streaming OTT devices to ensure video playback KPIs meet quality benchmarks.
• Design, configure, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless automated test execution within daily development builds.
• Conduct advanced network log analysis and client-side debugging to isolate root causes of complex software regressions.
• Maintain and expand automation device farm infrastructure, including specialized streaming hardware like Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon FireTV.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test suite efficiency, coverage, and predictive defect detection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Hands-on experience developing and working with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.
• Experience performing functional, regression, or end-to-end testing on web or mobile applications.
• Strong analytical skills in API testing and service validation using tools like Postman.
• Proficiency in client-side debugging and network traffic analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing QA processes within high-volume digital media or video streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with test management suites such as QMetry, Quality Center, or JIRA.
• Experience with automated testing on Smart TV operating systems.
