Senior Software Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design software-intensive systems including requirements, architecture, scalability, and security
• Integrate software components with hardware to create cohesive functioning systems
• Develop, author, and maintain system and subsystem-level requirements for space hardware
• Design scripts and tools to improve automation, efficiency, and operational reliability
• Oversee the creation of software simulators and participate in full system emulators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience in computer systems engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance or ITAR compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field
• 15+ years of space systems development experience
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
