Senior Software Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform software integration and verification for embedded avionic engine and flight control systems
• Develop test software using C code or customer-based scripts in a lab environment
• Develop formal Requirements Based Test procedures
• Trace requirements, test procedures, and results via DOORS to meet DO-178C standards
• Conduct requirements review, software development, simulation testing, and system level testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with Avionic software development through the Stage of Involvement SOI process
• Experience with formal requirements and developing software test cases and procedures
• Experience with HW/SW debug with embedded control systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lab environment integration
• Experience with embedded software environments such as VxWorks
• Experience with test equipment script languages such as Python or CsGTI
• Experience with configuration systems such as GitHub, RAZOR, or Synergy
