Senior Software QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and implement test strategies, including developing reusable automated functional test frameworks
• Ensure proper functioning of automation scripts across all browsers and platforms
• Create test plans by gathering functional and non-functional requirements
• Execute testing activities, including manual testing when required
• Work within Agile processes and contribute to release readiness reporting
• Contribute to root cause analysis and complex system investigations
• Collaborate with software developers and other test engineers

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
• Experience with test management tools like Test Rail or TestLink
• Experience with defect management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Protractor, Appium, PhantomJS, or Cypress
• Experience with performance/load testing tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or LoadRunner
• Experience with functional testing of RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of software development tools like Git and SQL
• Working knowledge of automated testing for mobile devices
• Good English skills

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certifications
• Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated attitude
