Senior Software Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Software and QA engineers to drive the strategy, architecture, and execution of next-generation software platforms.
• Define and drive a forward-looking software R&D strategy aligned with long-term innovation roadmaps.
• Lead early-stage technology exploration, including prototyping and feasibility studies for cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and edge computing.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the full SDLC, including architecture, design, development, and deployment.
• Establish scalable architecture, API, and cloud-native development best practices.
• Oversee comprehensive quality engineering practices, including automated test frameworks and test strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally with firmware, program management, marketing, and innovation teams.
• Manage annual budgets and oversee costs to ensure alignment with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading Software Development and SQA teams (manual and automation).
• Deep expertise in .NET (Core / .NET 6/7/8+), C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and services, as well as GitHub.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with desktop applications (WPF, WinForms, or MAUI).
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed system architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Knowledge of printing systems, fonts, or graphics.
• Experience translating consumer research into software solutions.
