Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the research platform team by providing technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers
• Architect and implement high-performance research infrastructure using Rust and Python
• Design data pipelines, backtesting frameworks, simulation engines, and analytical tools
• Bridge the gap between research and production by working closely with researchers and traders
• Drive technical decisions regarding architecture, performance, and reliability
• Solve high-performance computing (HPC) challenges related to data processing and parallel computation
• Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews and documentation

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers
• Strong proficiency in Rust or a strong systems programming background (e.g., C++)
• Solid Python skills for data analysis and scientific computing (NumPy, Pandas)
• Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in quantitative trading or financial markets
• Background in building data platforms or backtesting systems
• Familiarity with distributed systems and workflow orchestration
• Experience with modern data tools and frameworks
