Senior Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop multiple teams of experienced engineers and engineering managers
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise reconciliation platforms and modernization initiatives
• Partner with architects and product owners to influence technical strategy and product roadmaps
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies, GenAI-enabled solutions, and DevSecOps practices
• Oversee the full software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring security, stability, and scalability
• Manage resource allocation, financial planning, and talent development to meet strategic objectives
• Act as a technical representative during cross-team collaborations and resolve complex technology roadblocks

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience
• 5+ years of engineering leadership and people management experience
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with .NET, Java, Python, or Angular
• Proven experience with reconciliation platforms (e.g., IntelliMatch, EZOPS ARO)
• Expertise in real-time data processing and SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
• Experience with messaging architectures such as Kafka or IBM MQ
• Proficiency with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Strong background in automated testing (Selenium, JUnit) and Agile/DevOps methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying AI/ML models into production environments
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Experience managing global teams across different geographies and time zones
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID principles
