Senior Software Engineer/Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced native Android applications using Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness while fixing bugs and bottlenecks
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and various third-party SDKs
• Implement and maintain modern UIs using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Manage Play Store submission, versioning, and release processes

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience building native Android applications
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Solid experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design guidelines
• Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture)
• Experience with local persistence using Room, Realm, or SQLite
• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines or RxJava for asynchronous programming
• Experience with networking libraries such as Retrofit and OkHttp
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt, Dagger, or Koin
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Analytics, FCM)
• Familiarity with unit and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools for Android (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of mobile security best practices and memory management
• Experience with Android WorkManager, Navigation, and Paging components
