Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade healthcare solutions using .NET Framework, focusing on reliability and performance.
• Work with product owners and business stakeholders to define and develop world-class product solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers to share knowledge of modern development techniques and drive fresh ideas.
• Perform incremental modernization of critical healthcare systems and navigate large, mature codebases.
• Promote processes, tools, and culture to improve code quality, security, and productivity.
• Utilize software architecture experience to improve healthcare delivery through modern development methodologies like Agile and Kanban.

Requirements

• Proven experience building solutions in C# on .NET Framework.
• Strong command of WCF, Web API, ADO.NET, or Entity Framework.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and object-oriented design patterns.
• Ability to drive tasks through to completion independently or in a group setting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of quality standards, compliance, and security (e.g., HIPAA or PCI) within the healthcare industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building full-stack solutions using Angular.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, delivery automation, and Docker.
• Experience with modernization patterns such as the strangler fig pattern or API wrapping legacy services.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning in SQL Server.
• Experience with payment vendors or big data/AI technologies.
