Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate Python-based microservices and high-throughput ETL pipelines that meet enterprise SLAs and data quality standards
• Embed observability by default through structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing to define SLOs and incident response runbooks
• Conduct design and code reviews, performance optimizations, and cost optimizations to maintain engineering excellence
• Design and evolve reusable connector frameworks for inbound and outbound integrations with Ad tech platforms like Facebook Ads and Google Ads
• Collaborate with Product, SecOps, and Platform teams to deliver scalable solutions across Kubernetes, message buses, and workflow orchestrators

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend or data engineering building Python services and ETL pipelines for enterprise environments
• Expert Python skills, including async I/O, concurrency, and service frameworks
• Proven experience with microservices, containers, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Robust SQL skills with experience integrating with analytics warehouses such as Snowflake
• Experience with production-grade API integrations, including rate-limit handling and backoff policies
• Deep observability practice using metrics, logs, and traces (Open Telemetry experience preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging Apache Spark for large-scale distributed data workloads
• Strong understanding of modern Lakehouse architectures
• Exposure to serverless data patterns such as AWS Lambda or Step Functions
