Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap for your areas of ownership, addressing technical debt, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Design and implement robust backend systems that provide clean APIs and interfaces to manage internal complexity.
• Drive integration with various risk and mitigation systems to ensure global regulatory compliance.
• Identify and solve impactful problems within the team and lead high-impact cross-team initiatives.
• Deliver large-scale, organizationally complex projects by anticipating and escalating potential blockers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Java 8+, Spring framework, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience with asynchronous message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Strong product mindset with a passion for customer experience and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to writing clean, testable, maintainable, and highly performant code.
